Our Commitment to You
PBallConnect was built by pickleball players, for pickleball players. We collect only what we need to connect you with others who want to play. We will never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and you can delete your account at any time.
What We Collect

So other players can identify you in the app
Last Name initial (optional)
For your player card display only

Required to sign in and receive match invites

For future match notifications and score recording
Age range (e.g. 41β45)

How We Protect Your Data
Your data is stored on Supabase, which is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and built on AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Phone numbers are encoded before storage. We use row-level security to restrict database access. We never share your data with third parties except as required to operate the app (e.g. sending emails via EmailJS).
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

These Terms govern your use of PBallConnect. We've written them to be readable. If something is unclear, email us β we're real people and we'll explain it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PBallConnect, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. PBallConnect is operated by [OWNER NAME / LLC NAME], a New Hampshire business.
2. Description of Service
PBallConnect is a platform that helps pickleball players find each other, organize matches, and manage their player networks. We do not organize, supervise, or manage any matches, courts, or physical activities arranged through the platform. We are a technology intermediary only.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use PBallConnect. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information. We use magic link authentication β you are responsible for the security of your email account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
βImpersonate another person
βUse the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others
βAttempt to access other users' accounts or data
βUse automated tools to scrape or abuse the platform
βUse PBallConnect for any commercial purpose without written permission
6. Physical Activity Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Pickleball is a physical activity with inherent risks of injury. PBallConnect facilitates connections between players but does not supervise, manage, or control any physical activity. By using PBallConnect to arrange matches, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participating in pickleball and physical activity generally.
PBallConnect, its owners, officers, and employees are not liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage, or other harm arising from participation in any match, activity, or event arranged through this platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PBALLCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed $100.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PBallConnect and its owners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Your use of PBallConnect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.
